STUDY IN USA

The United States is the most popular student destination in the world. It provides exceptional opportunities for students from all disciplines to learn and flourish in their chosen subjects. When combined with an economy that requires new talent every year, it is the ideal location for those wishing to study and create a career after graduation. It is possible to study in the United States with a US student visa.

WHY STUDYING IN USA IS GREAT

Adaptability and Variability

Excellent infrastructure for international students

Community Wellness and Security

Open doors to internships

Lively Student Culture

Affordable Education

Students from other countries who have obtained a student visa are able to take advantage of the excellent educational opportunities available at US universities. The country’s education system places the same importance on both practical and academic study.

COST OF STUDYING IN THE USA

Universities in the United States fall into two main categories: public and private. State school tuition for international students is based on non-resident rates, which are typically less expensive than those of private universities. This excludes the cost of student visas.

To study in the USA you will need approximately $10,000 to $55,000 annually to cover your tuition fees.

Undergraduate Bachelor Degree

$15,000 to $40,000 per year

Graduate programs

$20,000 to $40,000 per year

Doctoral Degree

$20,000 to $45,000 per year

UPCOMING INTAKES IN THE USA

US universities have 3 intakes:
. Fall semester — August/September is the main intake.
Spring Semester Intake 2: January/February.
Intake 3: Summer Semester, May/June, for selected courses.
You must select the intake that best meets your needs and submit your application accordingly. Remember that application deadlines are typically a few months prior to the beginning of the semester so make your submission months before.

It’s a form of work authorization valid for a limited time that lets students get paid work experience while they’re still in school. After study, if you want to keep working in the United States, you’ll need to apply for a work visa. Even if you don’t have a job offer or haven’t applied for optional practical training (OPT), you can stay in the United States for up to 60 days after completing your education at a US university.

STUDENT DEPENDENT F2 VISA

The F2 Visa is for a student’s accompanying family members. Family members of F1 student visa holders can enter the United States on an F2 visa, which is a non-immigrant dependent visa. Students are allowed to bring their spouse and any unmarried children under the age of 21 who are dependents.

BENEFITS OF F2 VISA

Extended visa stays
F2 visa dependents can seek for an extension if the principal F1 student visa holder does. Form I-539 and financial proof are required to renew your F2 visa.
Change In visa status
A change of visa status is possible after entering the United States on an F2 visa. You can upgrade your visa status to F1 if you enrol in a higher education programme at an American university. You can apply to modify your visa status further if you discover a suitable job.
Get a Green Card
If the primary F1 visa holder obtains a Green Card, you will also be eligible to apply for one for yourself. You can apply for a Green Card after changing your visa status to one that permits dual purpose (such as an L1 visa). You can also apply for a Green Card once you’ve found a job.
Healthcare benefits
The United States’ healthcare system is available to F2 visa holders. However, due to the high cost of medical care, it is prudent to invest in a health insurance policy if a prolonged stay or medical emergency is possible.

F2 Visa Limitations

– No approval to work
– Not allowed to go to college or university
– Can’t get into the U.S. before the person with an F1 student visa
– You can’t get a Social Security Number (SSN) because you can’t work.
– With an F2 visa, you can’t get a job in the United States. But you can do work for free if you want to gain experience.
– US universities won’t accept your application for Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees with a F2 visa. You can take recreational and vocational classes. F2 visa dependents can attend elementary, middle, and high school. You need a visa status change to study at college.
– First-time F2 visa holders must go to the U.S. with the original F1 visa holder or after them. The F1 visa holder must enter the US first. This only applies to first-time U.S. visitors.

STUDENT M1 VISA (VOCATIONAL COURSE)

With an M1 visa, students can visit the United States to engage in full-time vocational study.

The USCIS issues M1 non-immigrant student visas to foreign nationals who meet certain requirements in order to study in the United States; however, not all applicants are granted an M1 visa. This is mostly geared towards individuals interested in obtaining vocational education in the United States.
