SPECIAL SKILL VISA

Anyone planning to relocate to the UK and take a job with an approved sponsor can apply for a Skilled Worker visa. Tier 2 (General) Work Visa has been replaced by this new visa.

: REQUIREMENTS TO BE ELIGIBILITY FOR THIS WORK VISA

1 – Work for a company in the UK that has been authorized by the UK Home Office.

2 – Obtain a sponsorship certificate outlining the position you’ve been offered from your UK employer.

3 – Have a job on the list of eligible occupations that have a salary above the minimum required for the job you have.

4 – Possess B1-level language skills in English as measured by the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

The visa is initially issued for five years and can be renewed for an additional five. You can also apply to become a permanent resident of the United Kingdom.

HEALTH AND CARE WORKER VISA

Medical professionals who hold this visa are permitted entry and residency in the United Kingdom for the purposes of working in the National Health Service (NHS), as a supplier to the NHS, or in adult social care.

: REQUIREMENTS TO BE ELIGIBILITY FOR THIS WORK VISA

1 – Have a degree in nursing, health, adult social care, medicine, or a related field.
2 – Get a job with a company in the UK that has Home Office sponsorship.
3 – Engage in a qualifying health or social care occupation recognized by the UK government.
4 – Carry a sponsorship letter detailing the position you now hold with your UK employer.
5 – Receive a bare-bones wage commensurate with the work you’re doing
You can’t apply for the visa until you have a firm employment offer. You can apply for an extension of your visa after five years have passed. You could even consider making the United Kingdom your permanent home.

INTRA-COMPANY VISAS

If you have a job offer in the UK and want to stay there, your employer may sponsor you for a work visa. The two options for this visa are detailed below.

Intra-company Transfer visa – Individuals whose employers have transferred them to a position in the United Kingdom may enter the country on an Intra-Company Transfer visa.

Intra-company Graduate Trainee visa – This visa is for persons coming to the UK to participate in a graduate training programme leading to a position as a specialist or management.

: REQUIREMENTS TO BE ELIGIBILITY FOR THIS WORK VISA

1 – Be an employee of the company who has been approved as a sponsor by the Home Office.
2 – Have a sponsorship certificate detailing the position your business has offered you in the UK.
3 – Be employed in a profession recognised by the government.
4 – Have an annual salary of at least £41,500 (for an Intra-Company Transfer visa) or £23,000 (for an Intra-Company Graduate Trainee visa).

SHORTEST DURATION OF THE INTRA-COMPANY TRANSFER VISA

1 – 5 years
2 – 14 days longer than the time listed on your sponsorship card
3 – The length of time that gives you the most time to stay.

SHORTEST DURATION OF AN INTRA-COMPANY GRADUATE TRAINEE VISA

1 – 12 months
2 – 14 days more than the time specified on your sponsorship certificate
3 – The time you are allowed the maximum total stay.

SHORT-TERM UK WORK VISAS

1 – CHARITY WORKER VISA
This visa is granted to those who want to perform volunteer work for a nonprofit organisation.
2 – CREATIVE WORKER VISA
You can apply for this visa if you already have a job offer in the creative arts in the United Kingdom.
3 – GOVERNMENT AUTHORISED EXCHANGE VISA
Get a sponsor.
Come to the UK for a short time to get work experience or training, to take part in the Overseas Government Language Programme, to do study, or to get a fellowship through a government-approved exchange programme.

4 – INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENT VISA

YOUTH MOBILITY SCHEME VISA

1 – Have an age between 18 and 30.
2 – Have plans to spend at least two years in the UK and work there.
3 – Meet other requirements such as being a citizen of the United Kingdom or a native of a particular country (Australians included).
4 – You can get a work permit and stay in the UK for up to two years with this visa.

GRADUATE VISA

After completing a degree in the United Kingdom, this visa will allow you to remain and work there for at least two years.

To apply for this work visa, you must be in the United Kingdom. In addition, it would be beneficial if you satisfied the following requirements:

1 – A student visa or Tier 4 (General) student visa must be in your possession.
2 – After studying for the length of time allotted by your Tier 4 (General) student visa or student visa, you have graduated with a bachelor’s, master’s, or other qualifying degree from a UK institution.
3 – The educational institution (university/college) has verified that you have finished your programme.

The validity of this visa is two years. If you hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or otherwise), it will be valid for three years. There is no other way to extend these visas. You must change your visa to one that allows you to stay for a longer period of time.
